Ive got the 2.4L but im tryin to punch out that extra bit of power from the gears. I wanna up the redline to about 8K or so, if thats possible with new springs, cams, retainers and valves.

 

Good news guys....I heard from the president of the VPCCC today and he said that they voted us into the council!!! I think that hes pretty interested in coming to a couple of our meets sometime. Id like to get a little more organized first though.

Its a car club council in the area...they help out new clubs and schedule events and shows around here and they do all kinds of stuff.

well everyone one is talking about having there logos on the back and front windshield when I already have stuff on my front and back windshield...but I will do something with a small one or hook it up on the side quarterpanels...I dont know...Im definently the vinyl guy to talk to. Cobaltss.net on the back windshield, Cobaltss.net on back side windows, and Cobalt ss on the front windshield, (soon) Racing Stripes YES!!!!!

 

Also I just spoke with Tom from crateenginedepot and he is sending a box out with goodie bags in it for our next meet!!!! Ill talk more about that conversation on the 29th....he had a pretty good idea about some stuff!

so went out last night cruising around and found a **** load of people in front of super K-mart on holland road. the usual crowd. a **** load of imports. some guy asks me "is tha an IMPALA?" I was like no dude, its a Cobalt. there was a 350Z with a l blow off valve so loose that sounded like the friken car was wisling, the driver smoked the clutch so much I could still taste it this morning. also I finally saw this 2 guys, one had a 6.0 2006 GTO, and the other one had a 2.2 ls so I told him about the club ( gotta spread the word).

 

Any of you guys out at Ruby Tuesday's last night? Saw a red LT drive by me and then get a little squealy making a turn. I didnt think LT's made enough power to spin tires..hmm. lol, just kidding guys.

Man I got a lucky break in court yesterday. My reckless was reduced to speeding if I go to traffic school. I was the only one the judge gave a break to. So, have I missed anything important?
