We made it to jenros ok. there were 3 other people that showed up they know who they are. I guess the name is going to be DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE. Also we talked about the meetings. How they should be twice a month the second week of the month and at the end of the month. one to be held at jenros one time at manhattans the other. Also the guys requested that it be on sunday afternoons because some people work. i think it would work great for everyone. We also talked about window decals and how we could obtain them. Also an easier way to chat rather than post threads. i will be posting directions or an address to get to manhattans in a few days so everyone i guess keep checking back. or call me 757-719-9251

 

Also (not to affend you red) how about instead of meeting at manhattans we meet at hooters on jefferson ave. Just because red you know people at manhattans and i dont want people you know coming there interupting us no offense. what do you think?

 

More on the lines of being more organized. Like we were talking about the RSX meets how deep they run. If we can get together as a big group we can do a lot of things with it.

 

I dont know about that guys....I might be distracted by the 'Hooters'. Thats cool. I havent been there in a long time and I LOVE their wings!!!! i think that we ought to do just cobalts. What i meant was red is that i didnt want your friends distracting us while we were haveing a meeting thats all. so hooters it is? that sound good to everyone?

 

also we can try for friday about 730 at hooters we will wait to next month to switch to sundays how bout that. and i think we also need to find somewhere else besideds jenros on the southside cause they dont take credit or bank cards.

 

Thats cool about the friends at Manhattans thing....thats understadable. I have no problem with meeting at Hooters. If we are gonna meet up next Fri. there though I can do it more around 7ish. Is that cool.. Yeah Sundays are good days for me. Im normally not available on Saturdays. SO the meeting schedule sounds good. SO that place out there doesnt take ccs huh? I think that we really need to get a web page together so we can post our schedule and events and stuff. That way all the info is organized in one place. I can work on figuring that out. Yeah Red I should read the past post but give me the info again about the $25 dollars or $50 for the advertised team (and what we get for it) Oh and when is it due and who do I give it to.

 

I'm down for advertising but it's gonna have to wait until next paycheck (two weeks). The meet was fun though! Too bad not many others showed up, we were getting looks from a beemer lol. Sundays would be killer. I don't mind waiting till the end of October to switch the met days, I'll just be absent before then cause of work. I MIGHT be able to make it to hooters this friday, I'm crossin my fingers.

 

Just go to www.warwickraiderband.com and click on the car show link for all the info. Its all there. If someone wants to help me out with the $50 maybe we could meet somewhere this coming week and get that together. I think it has to be in by the 19th....or maybe when we meet at Hooters (on Jefferson Ave. in NN. around 7ish. Just take the frist Jefferson exit and it will be a few miles down on the right) we coupld get the money together then. SO if anyone wants to print out a cool logo representing our club we could take it in and they will print it on the back of the show t-shirts. But the reg. form is on the site. You can just print it out and bring it the morning of the show at 9. The fee is $25. So far I have about 5 definates. So we will have a pretty nice little group there. I think it will be a good idea to wait to change the meet days to Sunday until the end of the month as well....lets make it that last week, k??? Still looking for ideas for the Southside meets.....

 

I just realized something. I went to enginecratedepot and the special sale price is like 370 for the performance exhaust but then they are trying to sell it to me for like 430. How do I get the special sale price???

 

Just to be more clear...the $50 is a group thing....the $25 is per individual....so if we all pitch in about $7 for the group advertising...I think we will have that covered! But the $25 is on your own.

 

You should be able to just click on the item...then go down to qty. and put the number in there. The sale price should automatically pop up....

also if you glance at the sponser letter it says, $50 or more = Advertisement (black logo and company name or website) on T-shirt
back (we’ll print at least 100). Please provide business card or logo with check. So im guessing they make us shirts?

I think I might have a logo. I'm pretty good with photo shop so if anyone has any ideas, I can make some stuff up. I'm still workin on some with the pics from Sat's meet. I might have a logo by tonight.

 

Check the galleries for some of my stuff. Search for domestic disturbance or just search for the pics i've uploaded. I want to do one of as many people as we can get lined up and a side/front end shot like the one with the yellow typing I have. That would be killer with about 10-15 cobalts going into the distance. I want the logo to show the chevy symbol on the front like the pic with the yellow typing has the front of the red cobalt. If you don't understand what Im saying, trust me, it will be killer once I get it done.

 

Yeah all the info is on that site I gave the link for. What happens is your club can pay a sponsorship fee of $50 dollars to support the schools marching band. They take your logo and print it on the shirts they will be selling at the show. Also the first 100 people registered will get a shirt for free. So that wil be the advertising part. The $25 is individual to enter your car. You can print out the form. If you want to bring it to me on Friday along with the $ and panblackrose can work on a logo and bring it, then I can take all the stuff by the school cause its on my way to work. That way we will be all set up. Then the stragglers can just come the day of the show and enter then....reg. is open until Nov. 5th. We just have to have the logo in early!
