right now the only good thing that i get out of my car is scaring people because of the shift kit. I had a mustang GT roll up next to me last night and he started doing that step on the gas make the front lift a bit thing. then he slowed back down next to me and was flagging his finger forward. I said what the hell ill get my ass handed to me. sure enough he started pulling away pretty fast, but then my car shifted up into second and squaked tires and he backed off thinking i had some kinda beast under the hood, lol was too funny

oh and i raced a new GXP solstice last night, from a roll. yeah, i couldnt even keep up while he was in first or second and he had the car layed out side ways. That thing has some crazy power, he said he raised the boost to 19 psi, bigger intercooler exhaust, after market charge piping and nitrous. Said he dynos close to 400 at the wheels

 

get a srt-4, or ls1 camaro, sti, u cant make ne power out of cobalts you should have known that even out of the supercharged one..

yeah i read the reading so it is'nt hard to do as long as you got the brackets and have some where you can flush out the lines and should be easy to put on not gonna be like 20 mintues but should be a learning experiance

i have a new problems with my car. my power steering pump is starting to go out. and on top of that they arnt belt driven on our cars, i didnt know that, the pump is electric and its up by the master cylinder. i have the 60k warrenty on my car i hope that the pump is covered by it

 

O yea it better be. Just dont tell them **** bout your motor...they will find someway to say "your pistions provide too much power for the electircal output of your rack and pinon."

and I didnt see a pump when me and my buddy were lookn at it...u got me curious. so if it is a pump, what fluid does it pump? does it tap into the brake fluid?

Also Will...would I be able to use my credit card to buy the license for you? I dont wanna pull cash off the card cuz the intrest is like double for cash withdraws, and I wont have the cash... So I figured maybe that would work?

it's electric thats gay and how do you know if the pump is going does it make a noise when you turn? or is it hard to turn if so maybe you just need some fluid

 

Actually... It is nice, cuz it doesnt rob power...the whole 3 hp. less mechanical issues...however, Now you need an electrician, and somene loke me who knows nothing about electrical is screwed. I swear man... to make it in the car buisness you better start learning electronics. Everything is goin electrical. I did read in a Tommorrow's Technician mag that they have developed this "airplane" like steering for cars. No pumps, power steering or anything. It ran off like cables or some ****, I dont remember. I thought it was pretty interesting...but that magazine is FULL of concepts.

 

yeah it taps into the brake fluid, its behind the master cylinder in the fire wall so its something the dealer has to do

because the lil display thing that says your economy and avg speed and temp and all that, comes up sayin power steering. and when i try to turn i have to use both arms and its like pulling on a cynderblock or something.

The owners manual has the power steering message and description and it says if it comes up there is something wrong with the electronic power steering and to have a dealer check it out emidiately

YES...actually I was partly being serious. B/c we have p/s without robbing power. That and doesn't belt drivin pumps getnerate more heat? I'm thinkn it would b/c of friction maybe?

Lets go to VMP on Friday, Aug. 10th. They have street night every Friday it seems. I checked the schedule. Maybe someone who actually 100% knows what they are lookn at can verify. But I say we do that on that day provided weather is good. We should try to get there early so we can find some shade and let the cars cool. Then we can throw down some really good times.
