Ideas for Va Beach and Tidewater region Cobalts
We have a spring compressor...the only thing is, my boss is like "need a ticket to come in blah blah" I'm afraid he might charge you labor
Natrually impact gun would be usefull. I have that and the sockets. you need typical rachet and sockets to take the top mount bolts/screws/nuts off. You need a fairly small amout of tools. However, before we do anything. What kind of struts/shocks are you getting? If they are adjustable then more caution is required b/c of the hollow shaft used for adjustign. I have no experience with cut outs...so if you bought Koni Yellows...I wouldnt know where and how to cut them. And you need to look into getting upper strut mounts. I had a problem with those on my cavy. aftermarket suspension is usually stiffer, and some upper mounts cannot handle it. So do your research, cuz I dont wanna put these on and then you keep having trouble.
The story with my cavy, I had Tein springs on Tokico Dspec adjustable shock/struts. The upper mounts were stock. I had to replace the rear mounts one time on each side. Eventually the new one broke again, and on the other side, the shock blew. An ASE master tech watched me install them, cuz I did them at school so I know they were put on correctly. And another ASE master tech at work helped me when I replaced the mounts. So the only thing I can think of was the mounts being too weak from the factory to support the extra stiffness. So if you can finde stiffer mounts, like pillow mounts, or polyurethane, i deff recommend gettn them. I wil ltalk to my boss to see if we can do it on a saturday or sumthin, of we can just go there on a Sunday. He dont work on Sundays. I'll catch a sunday when Shaun is workin, and we can do al 4 in about 2 hours tops.

thier the ssc lowering springs but i don't have a problem if he charges me how much do you think it would be i kinda want someone i know to do it i would take it to lee's dealer but i don't want to be charged an arm and a leg plus thier doing my supercharger
Oh come on now... I wont bend you over to bad!!!
Just for the record Ceaser (not being a smart ass) I am mechanically inclined...However since I know abs. nothing about S/C'ers I was hoping you guys could help me out, cuz I dont wanna **** something up. You guys are more knowledgable, so you know what your doing. Also, Lee and I had plans to do it NEXT saturday (that would be the 4th) that way while the blower is off, Maurice can port it. He already said he would I just have to call and remind. Him and Lee are neighbors so it works out. And then after everything is thrown on, Will does the flash. And also if you need help with your suspension parts, I know suspensions. I can do shocks/struts springs w/e it is you got. I did them on my Cavy.
BTW Will... you never answered if I would be able to use my credit card to pay for the lisence.
