Traveling on Hwy. 17 South (from Virginia)
- Take 17 South Bypass to Foreman Bundy Road exit 256
- Take right onto Foreman Bundy Road and go 4.7 miles to stop sign
- Take right at stop sign and then immediate left onto Lake Road
- Track is on right 2 miles
Or, map it yourself:
1099 Lake Road
Hertford, NC 27944
Phone : (252) 264-2066
I have:
A 2.5ton race jack - Portable and more than enough to get the front of your car off the ground. I use it to change my tires at the track.
Jackstands to keep it from falling on us.
A battery operated impact wrench for getting the tires off.
Metric and SAE Wrenches and Sockets.
A full set of Allen wrenches
I think the only thing I don't have is a "C" clamp to push back the caliper and allow room for the new brakepads, and I'll buy one if I have to.
So, what time tomorrow do you want to do this? I'd like to leave town by 5pm so we'd have to be done by then.

Glad you gave me a heads up...I have to find out where the other one is...its in my shed with the boxes that we didn't unpack. I think the wif knows where it is.
Anybody interested in racing tomorrow night?
Northeast Dragway in NC is only 38 miles away.
They have test and tune every Friday.
It's a 1/8mile strip and cost $20.
No helmet required for us slowpokes.
I'm thinking as long as there's not some ridiculous crowd there we'd get more runs than driving all the way to Richmond for (if you're lucky) three runs. It's almost two thirds less in distance to get there and if any of you have ever been on 17S you know it's two lanes of open road. Less time/distance/gas to get there and the possibility get more runs. I've heard it's a nice track. And even if it's not, you didn't waste all it would take to get to Richmond for just a couple of runs.
Come people. Is this a "club"? If it is then let's go represent. If you don't want to race, oh well, go anyway, cheer on those of us that want to, and you can run the camera.
So, let's hear it. Commence the excuse cycle....

OK people. Since it was only me and the club brotha who were going to race we decided AIK might be the better option.
What time can everybody be there?
We could actually get discounts at AIK if enough people would coordinate.

N2O requires refilling the tank. If you get turbo that power will always be there.

I would get a turbo, the bottle is 38.70 to refill each time. if its a 10lb bottle
I will see you on the track, and be smokin your asses
Lee and I are supposed to meet there at 9pm. He's supposed to be contacting Will and Ceaser. I've passed on the time to Warren.
AIK @ 9PM BE THERE
Mexican midget sheboys FTW! ...... I mean No2 FTW, who needs to be fast all the time!
Its not an SS, its a Sport....
The Trailblazer SS is basically a piece of junk...the trim sucks and the only cool thing is the horsepower...other than that, there's not much difference from the regular trim.
