Ideas for Va Beach and Tidewater region Cobalts
I'm no longer going to need to do an injector swap
I called up vince while i was on watch and let him know what was going on and emailed him the info that the guys in my sts thread have been feeding me and he took that into account and made an adjusted tune tonight and in a few hours he sent it to me over the net and i loaded it up on the car when i got off watch... SWEEETTTT is all i got to say, still runs a bit rich its now at 11.1:1 when im at WOT under boost so he is going to adjust it so we get it to 11.5:1 and call it a day. Then when my new header and down pipe get in we will tune it for 15psi

well, i was beat out of 3rd place by a SRT/4 (at my frist car show with the sts kit, everyone loved it, even the JDM guys that were there), i got honorable mention, a shelby GT500 got second place and a 71 stingray supercharged got first place, they put all the domestics in one gategory,

true...I think they'll have the advantage off the line since our boost is immediate...now the highway may be a different story. Not sure how quick they'll be able to build boost while driving. We need to make sure we exploit their weak spot

yeah but they have the lag meaning the torque doesn't hit the ground as quick as ours. so they should be able to hook up quicker as most turbo cars usually can against a sc

as soon as the exhaust cools off im going to go out and take the blown gasket off of the collector and put washers on with the nuts so i can make it tighter and see if the exhaust leak will be more quiet, this collector leak is driving me nuts
im working on loading them up right now

Now, along those same lines, since we build boost quick and turbo's have a lag time, we could find a spot, say 35mph, that would have our boost building and a turbo's boost would suffer.....that make sense..?

when i launch my 'bolt, the boost doesnt seem to kick in until i shift in to 2nd gear- i shift pretty quick to get out of 1st, no more then 3000 rpms, then into 2nd- ryan has bared witness to me launching
( this is after i got my mounts! )
does this right to anyone?

ok...our biggest drawback is the amount of boost early on because of the supercharger. Turbo's don't suffer this same drawback. So, they would probably have the advantage off the line.
