lol virginia isnt THAT bad...north carolina was worse lol. trust me...im a navy brat there are much worse places than virginia. my dads been stationed all over and i gotta say ft worth/dallas sucked... corpus christi, new orleans, and jacksonville were the **** but virginia is ok from what i've seen. even tho the commonwealth bullshit is ridiculous.

 

well for me the 8 years I've spent in this hell hole of va sucked.... and I won't blame it on the commonwealth stuff because Pa is a commonwealth but the rules up there aren't as shitty as the ones here. I'm hoping the rumors of my ship being transfered to jacksonville in a couple years are true. I can't stand VA anymore!

Guys I'm having a bit of a lapse in my determination and optimism regarding spending any money on my car. I'm having a Steve-o moment. I'm questioning whether or not doin anything to my ls is worth it or whether or not i should pass the keys to someone else. And back away from Chevy or Domestics all-together. It might be I'm reading Super Street and Import Tuner way too much or that I'm under the impression that I'm gonna crash and burn. I honestly don't know. Do you all think I'm chasing a mirage or should I drive on and keep goin as planned. I want people to look at my car and say "haha an ls" but then later have them sanding mouth agape. I'd like to think it's a reality but I think I'm just chasing an impossible dream. Garrett and Hahn have nothing for the 08 LS yet and I'm kinda thinking they never will. Maybe i should do a 2.4 swap lol and call it a day because i think trading it in is WAY outta the question. I don't know enough about care sales to think about that. Maybe I should stage a crash and collect insurance and go buy a civic or a scion. I did want a scion.

 

what are you hoping to accomplish in the first place? a fast car? a head turning car? or something else.
despite the attention that the turbo'bolt is getting. i happy with my ss/sc. i have to admit, i like the idea that i can upgrade to a stage kit in the near future.

 

I want to have a head-turning car but I don't want to have something classified as all show-no go but I own an LS. My biggest fear is no go. And if I can't achieve it then there really isn't a point at all is there?

 

thought theres was tuning for the '07~08 bases, not for the 05s though. you might want to do a steve-o and looking at a trade in for the turbo-balt. still like that i see and read about the turbo'bolt. than again you could just get out of the gm/chevy and get a mustang-plenty of go and show!
