Trash the stripes and body kits and put some power under the hood, or up your cornering with springs and struts/coilovers/sway bars... It's worth more in the end than ricey decals, but that's my $0.02. That was the problem with the 2.4, I spent so much time and money worrying about things that didn't matter when I could've put a good tune on it (instead of that waaay too rich in the upper end crap) and put down over 200 with the addition of a full exhaust and cams. But we all grow up and I'm still glad I moved on to my turbo 6

The other day, I came off a ramp onto I-64 behind a Honda and a Mitsu, both lowered, rims and the typical fart can muffler. They decided to race. Three lanes. I took the 3rd and blew past both of them!!

Wellllllllllll................. I just raced a vette tonight, smoked the shizzy out of him and the second time i raced him i beat him even worse. 3-4 cars the second time, first time was about 2 to 2 1/2 cars. I even beat him off the line both times!

 

what year theirs no way you beat a vette im not hatin or anything but im just stating facts man need prove of this last time you were only pushing 220trq i might be wrong but i donno

 

ask justin. he was there hell he was even the flag man for it, both times. lol. I believe its the same vette that sat over at the house justin use to hang at, the black one, im sure you have seen it before

Not to call you a liar but it doesn't make sense. You're gonna have to get Justin to back you on this. I don't see how you could outrun a c5 vette..., a car that has at least 100 more hp to the wheels than you do. If you did win twice then I have two logical reasons why. Either (1) you didn't race a c5 vette. It was a c4 vette which has a power level much closer to yours, and therefore much more believable. Or (2) the vette either was badly in need of a tune up or the driver had absolutely no idea of how to launch or drive the car.

I'm not worried about the vette. As far as I know, numbers don't lie. But I'll race you myself once I get back and I get used to driving again.

 

i looked up the specs on a c5 vette. they are 345hp to the crank, im at 323 to the crank. and its 1,000 lbs heavier. think of the weight to power ratio, plays a big roll. i dont know much about the vette that i raced, Justin does. It could also be possible that the vette was an automatic.

well that will be an obvious win for you. you are way more modded then I. Let me get the supporting mods done to the engine so i can boost 22lbs and then it would be an even race between us.

well, if he was setting me up for a hustle, the guy in the vette didnt stick around to follow through with it. almost emidiately after i beat him so bad in the second race he left.

And besides. I dont race for money EVER, even if im 2,000% sure im going to win. I just dont do it

probably so, and i didnt challange a vette. i was just standing there minding my business and the other guys around me came running say hey the vette said he will run your balt. Any way, i also raced and turbo civic hatch and he beat me. He pulled off the line, pulled a car and stayed a car ahead the whole time, didnt gain anymore distance but i didnt gain any ground back either.
