Did you notice the red badging on my ride (which I hate and will be redoing when I have the time), or any of the other subtle stuff like 04 Monte Carlo SS hub caps? Would have been nice to finally put a face to a name, but that will happen later. I'll def shoot you a PM if/when I need anything. Tires will be happening soon on the SS/NA. Back ones are low on tread wear, just trying to get some more use out of the front ones (I rotate every 5k). We need to get a meet going, or something, so that we can all get together and get to meet everybody. There seems to be a lot of posts by newer people in this thread lately. I'm learning my way around, but have yet to see another Cobalt SS of any trim/engine option.
Btw, I remember somebody talking about Anna's Pizza not too long ago. Since my wife wanted pizza for dinner tonight I pulled up Italian food on the GPS (even though pizza is american it was located under italian) and discovered I'm pretty close to it. IIRC, it was only 3.2 miles from where I'm living. Unfortunately, I didn't get to go there because general concensus decided on Papa John's. Boo!
I wanted real pizza.

I wanted real pizza.Btw, I was at Norfolk Naval Base today and saw a Sport Red Tint SS/TC coupe with Virginia tags, and no silver vinyl stripes, at TAPS. Does it belong to anybody on here? Also saw a yellow SS coupe with a highrise spoiler in the left lane of Military highway with what appeared to be CobaltSS.net vinyls on the 1/4 glass. Is that anybody's on here? They were headed towards Battlefield while I had just Battlefield on my way to Priority Chev. This was about 4.30pm.

well finally got the block back today from Magnum Machine.for mr.danews car and the old what is left of the problem of the motor going boom boom...danew all the other photos i took are on there way to you right now..but as for everyone else goes...i hope none of you guys ever do this!!!

I'm in Chesapeake, really close to exit 13B on the 168. The subdivision is Preservation Ranch.

greetings from Lorain, Ohio!!! its a balmy 37 degrees outside!!! made it home at 2 this morning. a statie did a 180 head turn while i cruised past at highway speed. loved it.
anyone know where i can get my flywheel resurfaced? If I can get it resurfaced, I'll be ordering just the clutch. If I cant get it done I'll be ordering both the spec stage 2 clutch and the spec flywheel.
steve-o i seen your stripes on the other thread they look good... but you should have gone all the way down with them in the front

the curves on the bumpers were too difficult to do for her so i left it as is.... i like it and it turns heads... plus it keeps attention at the top of the car... and not at my hahn intercooler which will be here along with the rest of the parts tuesday... so by the weekend this car will have a new life in it. and hopefully sound a bit different

I had mine done for $40 at L&W Machine in Norfolk. Justin just had his done yesterday at Magnum Machine in Ches. Don't know what he paid.
I'm ordering my clutch today... spec stage 2. i know the throwout bearing is a must, but does anyone have a part number for the slave cylinder/TOB so i can look it up and order it?

Get the PLUS clutch. Better, stronger and more "streetable". Both Spec and TTR will confirm that.
The bearing / slave is GM PN 12582666. Lists for $113.46. Check w/ Justin for a good price. If you order online, beware of huge shipping / handling costs.
Block is at Priority. Saw it yesterday. That car looks so sad with all that empty space up front. And... it's only as fast as someone can push it!!
