I can't imagine what the car looks like without an engine. I am happy though that things are on the upside now. A lot of eyes are on this project Joe..., we could be pioneers on here if everything goes right. I got some bigger injectors in case the 60's can't hold up. I don't remember what the idc's were with the tvs on before, but that should give some sort of indication of whether or not they'll be needed.

Re: IDCs.... Just pulled up a log... hit 90% @ 7,000 RPM, 11.5 AFR and 21.5# boost.

However there is something about the way GM computes IDC on the LSJ that is questionable. First, contrary to many comments, an IDC in excess of 100% is impossible. Once it hits 100% the injectors are static (locked open). Past that, they are incapable of any more fuel delivery and AFR will go lean. Yet other logs I've seen showing in excess of 120% don't show enleanment.

I calculate you need 472# injectors to support all the power you'll have. You'll need someone sitting on the engine with a bucket of gas just pouring it in!

So how much of a change would there be if the head is taking in more air with less restriction? I would assume more to allow the engine to make more power. That would mean that I need to have bigger injectors or a return style system. I really don't want the 60's to go static and starve the engine of fuel.

Well, it's not like he weighs that much anyway. It's probably be pretty funny to watch. It's starting to seem like a return style is actually the way to go.

How long ago did you send it? I haven't received anything yet. How's the old HHR/SC treating you?

Having just done it and learning a few shortcuts, if I can find the time, I might be able to at least come by and be a "cheerleader"...
