The 3rd Annual Back to School Bash will be held on Saturday, August 1st, at the Quaker Steak & Lube, 12832 Jefferson Avenue, Newport News, VA. Rain date is Sunday, August 2nd. This year’s event is proudly sponsored by Quaker Steak & Lube of Newport News, the Hampton Roads Navy League, Wicked Sisters Café of Virginia Beach, Dyno Tuned Performance of Chesapeake, Hop’s Place of Hampton, Hooters of Hampton Roads, and Trophy World, Inc. of Newport News. This year’s show is also an official sanctioned event of the Chryslers Owners Group. The event is free to the public, and is open to all makes, models, and years of vehicles…including trucks and SUVs, antique cars, exotic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, race cars, tuner cars, motorcycles, etc. Registration is $20 for all cars, trucks and SUVs, and $10 for all motorcycles. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., judging begins at noon, and awards presentation begins at 3:00 p.m. There will be “goody bags” and dash plaques for the first 50 registered participants, food, music, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and vehicle displays…and don’t forget the Pinup Angels and Hooters Girls! Awards will be given the top two vehicles in each of the 43 classes…as well as Best of Show and Best Club Participation awards! For more information and details, please visit www.hr-mopar.info, and click on the “Back to School Bash 2009” link or the “Back to School Bash” banner. All money raised will go directly to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital! Please mark this event on your personal and/or club calendar as one of the events that you definitely plan to attend this year, and help make this year’s event a huge success as we help in the fight against catastrophic childhood diseases.
I might come to this. Won't enter my car, but might come out to sheck out the other cars.

PM me or call me @ 757-647-0360 if interested.

Steve, you better be here!
I'll try. Don't know if the wife has something already planned. I'll call you and see if you need me to bring something, should I be able to attend. Maybe I can get some help with the Auto Meter install I'm doing. Since it deals with exhaust I think it could be considered a part of the project.

Also, does Danew need me to pick up the tool for spreading the header just in case it is a little off? Send me a PM and I can pick it up tomorrow at work.

Sorry, I wanted to make it, but had to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday.

Everyone, pay attention. Give Joe a call so we can get together. He needs to know how many people are coming so he can gauge how much food to get.

Don't know what you're talking about. I'm from the Rockies and don't see anything that remotely looks like a mountain out here. Are they under water? If so, I didn't know you are a scuba diver. Wanna teach me?

Actually, yeah, we talked, briefly. Sounds like you got a headstart already. It shouldn't be too bad. I'm hoping somebody might be able to help me with installing my wideband and sensor module.

It shouldn't be too difficult. Joe has an idea of how to do it, and you could always run yours through the firewall like I did.

Mine's a little more complicated. Also, where do you mount the O2 sensor? Do I need a bung welded into my exhaust? I've seen posts made about that.

Yep, Connor, you need to get a bung welded in for the wideband. Get your ass over here tomorrow and we'll show you.

Then do it, dude! Btw, where were you today? I thought you were coming to the cookout. Everybody was wondering why you didn't come. Would have been nice to see you and hang with another person I consider a good friend.

A big part of us having this today was to help you relieve your mind some from what you are going through now. We set things up, and all you had to do was show. Hell, Warren has a restructured ankle and he drove out here himself. You could have driven for him since his ankle isn't healed and strong yet. We're still here for you man, but I'm punching you in the gut when I see you next time.

Just be looking for it to happen.
