Ideas for Va Beach and Tidewater region Cobalts
I want to apologize to everybody who is thinking about attending this bbq. Regretfully, I have to change the date. I can not do it the day of the 16th as I will be out of town the whole weekend, and on my way to Utah for family reasons. I will be gone the 15th-18th. However, I do not want to cancel this. Instead, I want to change the date. Which day is better for everybody? I can do it the week before (8/9), or the week after (8/23). I'm sorry if this has caused any inconvenience for anybody. This is beyond my control.

well i ve had the car for a little over a week 1/2 now. i have put 150 miles on it. and on the way to work this morning the check engine light came on. grrr. i m hoping my brother-n-law has a car diagnostic thingy- i would think he does since he builds race cars-

i took the neon to advance for the diagnostic. it came up with a vacuum leak.
i checked the engine out and slammed the hood which might have loosened a hose. anybody have an idea on were to start looking? a vacuum leak is no big deal right?
anybody know a good place to hawk an engagement ring?

I have a scanner. Let me know if you want to borrow it. Also, it was said earlier, but Autozone will scan it for free and can print out what the code means from one of their computers in the store.

dam got rained out i got one time trial lap but had to brake for a dumb ass civic that i caught up to before he got off the track. Shame i was looking forward to running steve in the duel drags. SS/SC vs. SS/TC FTW. you better come out next wed steve.

Unfortunately i wont be out there next week.... as excited as i was to wanna go next week. ill be out in the ******* stupid ass field training exercise.... and wont be back till thursday... next week. so i dont even get a chance to use my free ticket next week.... im kinda pissed...
I haven't talked to the wife yet, but I did offer you my spare bedroom should **** hit the fan, such as you're not able to get a dorm. I've got a spare bedroom with a bed that has bedding, and a fully furnished full bathroom. I know it'll make your drive longer to get to base, but the offer is there.

That Mustang last night only showed why I won't run the ring. My car is my DD. It'll be a different story once we get another car, but that isn't happening for a little while. And I know all about the cornering capabilities of the car. I used to live in real mountains. Besides, I at least went out last night and supported you guys.
thats is true! more than i can say for the other local cobalts. everyone talks about doing stuff or coming and never does. Mine is my DD too but ive been racing cars for a good amount of time. Not to mention i work on cars for a living, and if something were to happen i have the means to fix it myself. And the mustang smacking the wall that hard was a fluke thing thats what happens when you let a 16 year old drive your high powered car.

I have no problem fixing my car if I smack the wall. My problem is what do I do the morning after I hit the wall? How I am going to get to work? Mass Transit doesn't come out by my house. Does Langley do their thing every Wednesday?
