Hey yall, i've had my balt for about 2 months now, just trying to find some other fans in the area. I havent read all the threads on this topic but i can imagine that there is a club around here by now, ive seen a few driving around. At any rate, does anyone know when/where everyone meets? Id love to drop by sometime and meet yall.

 

awesome!!! we meet in V-A beach at the super K on independence but meet At freedom wash and all roll in together whoever shows up... otherwise at times we will go to the bass pro shop in hampton.. but nice to hear from a new balt fan.. what do you got?? yes we do have a club that we just started not too too long ago.. "Domestic Disturbance".. ask 1 of the others the true meaning behind the name cause im lost on it to be honest..

im back guys. my stage 1 cams will be here wednesday next week. anyone know how to install them?

not very helpfull, he takes out the valve springs too. im not doing that yet. this is my mild head build. once tuning comes out the head that im removing from my car will be ported and polished too but the valve guides will be over sized by 1 mm so i can use bigger valves that will withstand higher heat from nitrous. and then with the duel valve springs so that i can rev higher without valve floating, and the stage 3 comp cams. that link might be helpfull for me when i do my high power head build later down the road

 

dude, that tells you how to take the cams off first, then the valve springs, just stop after the cams are out and reverse steps

how much did performance unlimited say it was for the head work?

 

i havent taken the new head in yet. im waiting for the guy back in michigan to get a hold of me about the head. but when i inquiared about it i think they said 150 for the machining work.

$150 sounds good ill probably get that done w/ tax return money

 

i hope to have the cams in and car running by friday or saturday at the latest next weekend so you can hear what a caming 2.2L sounds like. hehe. makes me want to buy the high flow cat from turbotechracing.com
