i am definently not getting what I call the "vehicle for the dead." That looks so close to the chrsyler pt cruiser. Im really thinking about the mitsubishi lancer just the base vehicle. I love the way they look now. Its a family car YET sporty looking.

 

remember......base models are the first to crap out on you always... u cheap on car and the car will cheapon you lol... thats y all the base cobalts and cavaliers were crap... well most of them.. but not many SS or Z24 were havin isues.. base models are thrown together. while higher end models are customized and put together with carefulness thats my theory at least..

hey now i haven't had any problems with my base model, well not anything major anyway... i mean i had the struts replaced, but that the extent of anything that actually went wrong... i've thrown a few cels but that's because of the intake... or at least that what my scanner tells me. All the other **** that's gone wrong is just bad luck....like the rim in Portsmouth, and the big ass hit n run scratch on the door, and the two door dings....

Actually now that I think of it i just seem to have a lot of bad luck....

Along with getting certified as a Skydiving Coach, I'm also a Red Cross Swimming Instructor. Anybody get the sneaking suspicion that I like to teach.
It may require a little hands on for me to teach the proper technique.

As for the oil change, I'm crazy busy this week with a Tech Refresh at work. Replacing all the computers in the building, after hours. Guaranteed fun for everyone.
I'll try to make some time soon, or get you my stuff.

I am on vacation now, down in New Orleans with my g/f. I had the time to do the install of the parts two weeks ago and didn't know you were going to be out of town. I will be back on the 17th, before leaving to head up to New York. Hopefully I can catch you this time before I leave to head up north.

 

I have the injectors and a harness, a stock airbox, a stock pulley.

I have a stock manifold and downpipe....the downpipe has an extra bung for a wideband though.

 

Damnit. Might be out of town. When will you be back from NY? We can try to work out another day/weekend with your car in the garage if the right people want to get their hands dirty. I think I have another free weekend coming up.


So, I still need the belt then. I think that's it. Anyone, anyone?
Does the intake have the filter in it? May seem like a silly question but I don't want any details holding up progress.
