attention my fellow cobaltinians..haha i need a head count on whose going to the dave and busters meet! its next weekend so lemme get to know whoevers going so we can plan..

 

ill go if the car gets fixed..... can anyong tell me if the wingless Evos are garbage?? like the basic ones lol i had an encounter with one last night as soon as i got on the highway to home... i breezed past at 70 and then what he took as a challenge i was just in a hurry to get home to poop. but he got next to me and i dropped to third and was gone. cause i didnt wanna deal with the dudes.

So I take it you won't have your car in time for the meet? Are you still coming though?

 

I'll still be up there. But I have no idea of when the car will be ready for me to even drive.

 

I heard what happened Danew. That sucks. I know Justin has been a little busy. He had to deal with my car last week. I managed to find the real weak-spot in the F35. It took Justin and another tech at Priority Chev to figure it out. It's the slave cylinder. There are no upgrades for it.

Justin. I doubt, in fact I bet, that'll make it to the meet. With my job I have to work saturday mornings. Also, as you know, I'm hoping to close on my house on friday. I think it's best if I say that I won't be making it out there.

 

Connor, it's really aggravating that the car is so close to being done, but another day has been wasted since there were some conflicts that became apparent at the last minute. The only thing I am still worried about is being able to drive home at the end of this month. I've been extremely patient through this whole process, but time is getting much closer, and everyday that I can't drive it is meaning I'll have to drive that much more just to get the engine ready for the trip.

Also, I was hoping I could meet you last night. I assumed you were going to meet up with everybody last night. If you needed a ride, all you would have needed to do was ask. I have base access. I could have picked you up.

 

I live off of independence blvd. and baxter rd. in virginia beach. I didn't know there was a meeting going on in the area last night. I was just frustrated yesterday from not being able to wrap things up. I'm in three section duty right now, so I'm on duty today but I have tomorrow off. The cams are the only thing left to do. Once they have been swapped out, I can then start driving it again.

 

So driving home today i seen a red balt that caught my eye.... kinda looked like adam's car. but it had some kind of graphic on the sides on the lower half. it had dual exhaust, and an aftermarket body kit. she was getting off 264 at independence today.

 

that's my neighborhood. What you described sounds like his. Did it have the superman logos in the rear outside tails?

on another note. storms that rolled through last night were pretty crazy. connor told me of tornado reports so i went and found it. i almost missed it. but the rain made the lines in the roade impossible to see and then the hail came which wasnt that big at all. car suffered no dents. but fortunately no damage to the city either like the suffolk tornado last year.

Got some bad news yesterday. Fortunately, it's not the end of the world. Kim and I won't be closing on our house on Friday. Looks like it may be another 2-4 weeks. Damn short sales!Unfortunately, I won't be coming. I work until 2pm on saturday. And the wife has to work that day too, so she won't roll up in her own balt. Sorry.
