I talked to Joe about this for a little while last night. We have some ideas. First thing first. How about we setup an intro bbq. I was thinking my house (I know that could be a bit of a drive for you VA Beach folks), maybe in about 2 weeks (8/16?)? Bring your girls, etc. This isn't going to be my club. I want whatever comes from it to be everybody's club. I think a meet like this would allow everybody to discuss what they do/don't want to see come out of this. In fact, to be a little radical, I don't want us to have to answer to officers like a club president, etc.

I'd like to hear what everybody has to say, and thinks. Can we make this initial bbq and meet and greet happen? Who's up for it? Are there any time/schedule conflicts? Please post up. This is for everybody in the Tidewater area.

excuse me MR lol yeah that works for me where do you stay at again?

Re: SRodSS007 and dyno...

OK, folks, I admit it... I made a mistake!

When Steve was headed to Ohio on leave, he wanted a quick "upgrade" to his previous tune before the trip. Due to the rush, I had made a numerical typo in his tune!

Well, in spite of that, he put down a 13.6 @ 107, but only 260 SAE corrected on the dyno.

We've talked and I told him that I would not only fix the error, but pony up for another dyno.

I'm swamped with "real" work right now, but the other poster who mentioned tuning for a N2O setup, please PM me and we can talk. I'm going to say this right up front, though... If you're running ANY extreme mods, like N2O, I don't even want to touch it unless you've got a good wideband setup in place that can be logged. That's mostly for your (and your motor's!) benefit.

PM me if you want to talk about it or call me at 757-647-0360.

yea man im running the AEM wideband and also have the interceptor gauge as well to montior KR too. Right now im running about 11.7-11.8 AFR at wide open throttle. The car runs pig rich tho. I need to find out how much timing im running tho for the spray. I was gonna put the kit on and spray once to see where the AFR'S go and how much KR ill get then ill know if i need to back the timing down

I'm out by Suffolk, just off 664 and Pughsville Rd. If everybody wants to do the bbq at my house that is cool. If not, no hard feelings. We can do it somewhere else, preferably more central.

It doesn't matter what you drive. You are still a car guy. Just because you don't have a Cobalt doesn't mean you shouldn't hang out with everybody.

+1.

Feel free to be a part of the group. You don't have to have a Cobalt to have us as friends. Look at Joe. He drives a HHR. And, forget that honorary part. You're no different than the rest of us (except Joe, he's older). You can be just like us.

thanks guys for the support. i've filled for bankruptcy, so that will protect me from any ill effect that GMAC might bestow upon myself.
i dropped off the car at hampton chevy, signed a piece of paper saying that i did dropp the car. called the insurance letting them know that i no longer own the car.
my sister has a friend that is willing to sell her.....( please be gentle ) neon. ( a car is better then no car at least)
my update, lost my main job at the end of last year. lost my cell phone 'cause i couldnt pay for it. my fiance called it quits ( again, but it looks like its sticking this time) and to pour salt on the wounds i had to give up my car. so yeah i've had it ruff lately.

ps. i ve got an unused DC Sports Strut Bar i'll sell for $75 and a low profile red spoiler. PM me if anybody is interested.

Man I'm sorry to hear about all the bad luck Art...look at it this way, it can only go up from here

Hell I thought my luck was bad, a month ago I go to the hospital to reapir a fractured ankle, I leave with an Alleged heart attack, blood clot, and pendacitus. Fortunately all those test were negative and I ended up having a bacterial inffection from the surgery! I hate medical!!

man, did they have a intern working on you or what?

its a silver 2002 dodge neon with 130,000 miles + on it. my sisters friends drove it school out in Chesapeake. so in the end it gets me to point a to point b, just a little bit slower.
