Okay, so who wants to tell me what there is to do around Hampton/Newport News for fun that won't involve me getting shot.

Just moved down here.

Half the fun is trying to not get shot when out and about.

I need some help. As many of you know, I'm currently focusing on getting gauges in my car. I have decided to use the Auto Meter Nexus gauges. I already have the 12 channel sensor module and the wideband. I also recently ordered an Aeroforce Intercepter with the LC1 wideband controller (probably a waste of money, but I'll find out soon enough). Because of what the Interceptor can do I won't be needing many of the gauges I intially thought of getting, leaving only 4 to choose from. They are:

#6463 - fuel pressure gauge,

#6453 - oil pressure gauge,

#6456 - oil temperature, and

#6457 - transmission temperature gauge.

http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugeli...&opid=1&szid=2

My build plans are to go twincharged, along with full supporting mods, and even a possible engine build. I do plan on buying a return style fuel system conversion, so I think I should get the fuel pressure gauge, but should it be installed in the car or under the hood? I'm thinking in the car. I don't really see a need for the transmission temperature gauge because I am not an auto tranny, and don't plan on installing a a trans cooler. So, it really leaves me to decide between the oil pressure and oil temperature gauges. I only have 2 pods available. What does everybody think, and why?

Dual interceptors and a boost gauge is my vote.
If I had the newer interceptor(s) that accept analog input, I wouldn't need the xd-16 I am using.

Thanks for the input, but I already have 1 interceptor and a OE boost gauge, which might be swapped out with a Nexus gauge. I already have 3 gauges (as soon as the iinterceptor arrives tomorrow). I just wanted input on the other 2 out of the 4 I am considering.

Hey, zrated, I was looking at your vbgarage, and I didn't see anything in there. What mods do you have again?

Don't want to speak for him, but I believe he's running bolt-ons and a 2.7? He has the specifics.

I just got mine today, and just finished installing it. Real easy. Haven't hooked up the LC1, although I didn't do my homework and think I wasted my money. I already have a wideband with more datalogging capability than the LC1. 11 min v 1 min. Anybody need a LC1 for their Interceptor? It's brand new. Just received it yesterday. Don't know if I'm serious about this though.

Btw, for anybody that has experience with the Interceptor, how accurate is it? I'm only asking becuase I've never dynoed my car and decided to watch the horsepower rating and the knock retard at the same time. It read 281 hp with 0.0 kr. That was a 2nd gear pull getting on the freeway, all the way to the rev limiter of 7250. Although, I am concerned about my ait2's. They were reading about 70* higher than ait1. Although, I believe I know what the problem is and have plans to fix it when it cools down a bit. It's too humid right now.

if you want to know about power then hit a dyno. I've pushed my interceptor's reading past 1000 a number of times. all it does is calculate airflow. there is a way to adjust it, but it won't be accurate. Use it for boost, kr, rpm, ait's, maf, and engine load.
