Correction, they weren't going to void the warranty. The tech was just blowing off some steam. I talked to the writer and he would take a look at it if the factory shifter was back in the car. We just don't want the GM rep coming in behind us and seeing that you had that short throw and knob on there.

im very happy guys.. when i came here 2 virginia i was poor and a shitty car with no friends.. now i have 7 GRAND in my account.. a nice cobalt SS and a bunch of new friends i can learn stuff from.. cant wait till friday and saturday.. and ohh BTW i was on a mission 2-day in a semi and i saw a blue SS like mine goin west on I-64 @ 9:30 this morning.. N E 1 know??

wow the strangest thing happened to me going off post 2 the mcdonalds across the street.. there was an integra with a huge ass fart pipe sittin across the light.. i had the green and it turned yellow 2 red so i still went. and took off kinda fast.. so this integra gets his light and then zooms 2 try 2 catch up.. im ready 2 turn left into the road that leads 2 the gate.. this guy zooms past U-turns @ the closest spot and comes 2 the light across fomr me.. i said pfft. and went back 2 the base..

1. Cesar, thanks for the fill in man, I didn't know the story. I say BS because I still har the grinding noise. Its not from the shifter or the tranny, its from the front right wheel.
As for the shifter, if I have issues with the tranny, I will revert it to stock to avoid issues with the GM rep. Thank you both for watching out, I really dont mean to seem ungrateful. I think I really do have a problem with the tranny though, it clicks when I first take off, but only does it once in a while. (twice or so a day)

I ordered Will front and rear brakes and the price difference was only $27.00 dollars, but you have to remember I don't have to charge you guys freight. When I am at work tomorrow I will post up the price.
