I think I'm gonna make a trip to the muncie dragstrip Friday night and do some pump gas street tire runs

 

sooo this thread died after our meet. Hows everyone's car running that got tuned? Would anyone be up for a possible dyno day before it gets cold? I'm itchin to see my numbers now

my car's definately movin better. just need to get my new ic pump. only other thing is on idle seems like if i just give the gas a small tap the car isn't very responsive to it, but anything more than that it's just like normal.

 

Yea my car is so sick now. I finally got my engine light to go away and my throttle response/turbo spool is so fast I love it. Definitely want to get on the dyno. I was thinking late september maybe early october when we get some cooler air but not freezing. I know the indyrpm crew was wanting to do a dyno day soon also so if we don't have enough cars to get a decent discount we could always join up with them. I think last time they had 20-30 some cars some of which put down some monster numbers. But I'll look into it.

 

Then I don't wanna go lol. NA 2.2. I will look like a tool lol. Maybe if I get my kit by then

 

Hey nick ure issue is ure pump. High iat2s cause kr at light throttle. ........ .. Rreplace it and itll go away.. Does it doit on first start....

 

Nah u wont, they had dudes there dynoing stock 90s honda civics and ****. The dudes are all cool and just there to have a good time. I like the smaller group if we can get enough of us balts to go. But I'm pretty sure cozzolino was where they did it last time and he gave a discount for the more cars you had.

joe. me you and rob will for sure go and i'm sure if we go luke will jump in and maybe doug will hop on the train as well now that he's tuned and maybe we can even get adam to come as well now that he's gms1. that would be enough i'm sure. i'm definately down for the dyno once i get my ic pump replaced and have a little money put away.

James- i got a few things i wanna talk to you about, main one is the o2 code still. But other than that LOVIN the ca once again!!! Better fuel econ more power_funnier car and happy owner lol

Lol yeah..... The cat code prob just needs all the codes to be disabled. What i will end up doing is disabling one then see if the code comes back. If not then that one is the one. I know i disabled the p0429 which is why im like wtf is going on.. Lol......

 

Thats cool james, i clear it bout once a week and when it comes back i check it just to make sure its the same 0428 lol.

Who is up for Oct 5 to go to Lucas oil raceway @ Inpls or formally known as ORP and before that the beloved IRP, lol. Its one of the last street leagls/Test and Tune nights. I figured w all of us that just got tuned and retuned by james we would wanna see how they run on the strip? I figured oct for several reason:
1) cool enough that heat "shouldnt" affect us too bad
2) its far enough in advance to skimp and save and plan for
3) that would be one hell of a way for me too start my vaca

So come on guys lets get a decent group together to go and represent!!!

The dyno u should use is a known dyno for cobalts meaning correct calibrations and ect.. Its hard to find one. . I found one that was 10% off and that was at.best in TN..

hey all. i might be interested.....im down in columbus. how much does a run usually cost?

 

last time we went to the dyno it cost $65 per person. if we had more it probably woulda been more around 50 a person.

 

Well i think that was his typical fee for a dyno day setup. Nick i think you and i got lucky since the mazda's where there in the am, lol. But for sure we would need to make sure people will actually come this time, lol
