yea I was thinkin the same thing. We should meet up before the weather gets too cold. Its already depressing enough. I say mid october we should try for the dyno day? Maybe the 15th or 22nd, those are both saturdays?

Hey guys, flashing a check eng light and no reading on my coolant temp. My fluid levels are fine, and im not running hot. Any ideas?

 

coolant sensor is bad or the harness is some how bad...... look for corrosion!!

 

Its back in action randomly. But ill check. Is it a costly sensor?

Hey guys sorry i've been a shadow in the night since the meet. day after the meet i started up school and my new work schedule so i've been swamped between the hundred or more miles of driving everyday, school work, and work plus several people at work have been sick so i've been called in almost everyday off to cover for them. been a really shitty past few weeks. i'll definately be at the october 5th event at Lucas to run the quarter and as far as the dyno goes oct. 8th or 22nd is the only 2 saturdays i'm scheduled to have off however that doesn't seem to pan out as planned, but if i make plans i'll just have to tell my boss tough **** i'm busy.

 

Hey Nick nice to hear from someone on here again. If we are taking a vote on the dyno day I say Oct. 22nd, because I am off that week. I'll have meth, and a few other mods by then too...

 

As of right now im good for the 8th, but that will be a busy day for me, since ill be leaving for michigan later that evening, lol.

But lets figure it out so we can schedule it with pete(assuming thats where we are going)

if i don't put down at least 260whp i'm gonna be pissed lol. cause i put 246whp on 1 run last time and that was on a bogus tune. it definately has more pep in its step now than it did.

 

if it feeels faster then it prob is... The thing is the linear power curve also. I want to retune everyone for the colder temps So let me know when possible!!

 

lemme know as soon as you're up or planning on coming up, cause i got my new ic pump and i'm gonna do new plugs this week when i get paid so i want you to check my iats and see if you can milk my tune anymore to make it even more spot on.

 

Hey James I may come back down that way and see you soon once I get my meth kit. The car will be going on the shelf here soon for the winter, so should I retune for the cooler temps? I will be making a dyno run sometime in Oct. however either with these guy or IndyRPM.

 

dyno wise use a reputable dyno meaning its calibrated closely for the balts. and i do like to tune for colder temps to one make it safer and two to make sure i get you the best power..

 

I think we should all meet up again b4 the Dyno on the 22nd. I should have atleast a tune by then.

As far as the dyno id say lets all just join the indyrpm session, sounds like it will be alotta fun!!
