I don't, but my father did. recently retired WEMR.

What do you need to know?

 

Needed to know production information since October. I think my dealership is messing around with when they ordered my car. And I wanted to catch them in a lie so I can get my money back and order the car through a better dealership. I hate when they try to lie to me like I have no Idea what goes on in production!

 

What did they say?

 

Sorry I can't get it for you. Its been 2 years since my father or I have even been there LOL.

 

First they tried to tell me that the plant switched over to SUV's for 2 weeks(BULLSHIT!!! IMPOSSIBLE!!!), and that is why they waited three weeks after i put in my deposit to order the car. I went last week to talk to them and they then change the story to having engine problems(though they were making the SS/TC the whole time). And they told me 6-8 weeks(i put my deposit on 10/10/09, they ordered it on 11/3/09 ) now they are changing it to 10-12 weeks from 11/3/09!!! I AM FLIPPING PISSED!!!! It's going to be over 3 months from the date i put my deposit to get this damn car! I will never use that dealership again! They are lucky I get my GM discount and a car voucher, or I would never have gotten a Chevy.

 

I don't think they would dick you around and intentionally delay a sale. They figured it would be a good idea to give you a bull **** excuse since the car productiom was more than likely on back order.

 

yes. its bullshit. No SUV is or can even BE produced at Lordstown, there are no production problems with engines, and they are full of ****. you should demand your $ back for being dicked around. tell em you are buying one off the lot from another dealership.
This much I know from the GM dealership I inhabit. I would know of some thing like that goin on.

 

Yeah and"its on back order" was all they had to say. They didnt need to give him bullshit lines. Thats what I cant stand about dealers. When they dont know the answer they just make up something that sounds good.
