On another note, did you guys know its illegal to have a tinted license plate cover? Cause i sure as **** didnt. (the ones you can get at meijer or any auto store)

Kind of the same law as Troys new one, where you can get a $200 ticket for not having both hands on the wheel. Cops have the legal right to pull you over, but most cops won't do it unless you look like someone who they should.

 

I can't wait to get pulled over for that and ask them how I'm supposed to shift gears and abide by the law at the same time.

 

Does anyone know where I can get a damn orifice restrictor for the air bleed line that's going on my Option B tank??

 

ive been pulled over for having too much dirt on my plate. that was when i was younger and they just wanted a reason to pull me out of the car and search it. thats why they make some of these dumb laws so they have a reason to pull u over and **** with u if they feel like it.

 

Its barely tinted. Shine any kind of light on it and you can see straight through it. It was prolly the red hair that got me pulled over :p lol I will NEVER let a cop search my car. Yea i know they legally can if they have suspicion but I'm not a suspicious person lol

Did you just tell someone not to tint their windows dark then say you own a car with a 5% tint in the same sentence?

 

The car was tinted in cali when I lived there and just not trying to spend the cash to change it, when I got the balt done here got it 35% aka different rules different areas

Hard to see but the pink package is found with the rest of the vacuum fittings etc., it shows universal on it and steps down in size on both sides. A couple dollars and you're done!

Trust me, you guys aren't being pulled over for how your car looks 80% of the time. My car's loud, blacked out windows, wide tires, and has an aggressive stance. I've been pulled over once. And cops only search your car if you're giving them a reason to.

 

ur driving the wrong kind of car then. i used to have a 96 impala ss with 20's tint exhaust. as soon as they would see it drive by they would flick on the lights. cant tell u how many times that happened. when i was younger they would pull me out of the car and search it. then ask how i could afford the car and all the goodies to go with it.

 

You're just trying to justify getting pulled over all the time. However yes there are cities that target people with tinted windows, but there's not very many. I didn't get pulled over much in my Cobalt either so don't give me the you're car's different bs I did get pulled over more though, but it was because of my driving.

Also, they only searched your car because you let them, when they ask you if they can search your car, you do have the option of saying "no."

 

I looked at Home depot, Autozone, O'Rileys and then finally Advance Auto parts. Advance was the only one that had those but it didnt look like it did **** to be honest. The one they showed me had just a straight through flow section without the step down feature. I might go back and take a look tomorrow. Just wondering, did any coolant get back into the Option B tank when you had that installed?

 

yea i used to drive like a real dick. i had about 15 points by the time i was 17.lol. my plpd costed about 2g a year on a beater. my dad wasnt so happy.

sterling hts,clinton twp,shelby r all haters. they will pull over for any little thing.

have u ever tried telling them no? i tried the no u cant search my car once. then they say thats fine will just bring the dogs out and walk them around the outside. i had something in the car that wasnt supposed to be in there. when i heard dogs i said go ahead and search.lol. they didnt find it.lol

 

I guess they had probable cause to search ya then didn't they?

I've never had a problem with Sterling heights, I'm very polite and with LEO's and that goes a LONG way with them, they deal with people acting like ******** all day. When they get someone polite they are generally quite happy.
