stoped by the auto store to get some window cleaner, seen a turbo emblem thought since people keep saying my cars supercharged i might put it on, painted it red hate chrome. now issue is where to put it. dont want to crowd grill up got the SS and grandsport badges on one side. was thinking dash or the other side of upper grill, or maby the lower right side of the lower grill. any opinions?

I'd probably have to go to yours. I haven't actually ordered the bracket yet, but I'd appreciate the help. It seems like a PITA to do.

Yeah that's fine I have every tool imaginable, I'm hoping to get my car lift installed before winter but my dad has a coronary every time I try to clean the garage.

It took me two tries to get it done, the first time I didn't anticipate it would take as long as it did and I ended up putting it back together except with one bolt in upside down because I was going to do it the next day. Then, the next day it rained and the day after that the upside down bolt fell out while I was on 275 and dented my CV boot lol.

Second try was alot easier, and I didn't have any problems getting the cables off the bracket like the first time.

Sounds awesome dude. OU buddies.
How are those rotated trans mounts? Did you get them from ZZP? I was either going to get those or LNF ones.

I got them from Powell, they're the best. OTTP copied John's design except used ultra crap bushings and they fail iirc. That's what I was told and have read though, dunno if it's still the case.

but YEAH they're great, a bit different than what are for the ss/sc but still very noticeable differences.

yeah something like that, mine were more expensive since they're special snowflakes though. make sure to get stage 2 for best results, worth the extra bit of money

I like that we can upgrade simple stuff for cheap and make the car loads better. I am also thinkin about doig the rear trans mount. Are all the parts from OPPT better? Cuz it seems like all his parts are just as or better then the parts that zzp makes

All this talk about shifter parts reminds me that I need to install the bushings... The lnf bracket was a must have for me. My car never really liked down shifting into 3rd, It would grind like 50% of the time. It hasn't happened once since I put that bracket on.

how many of you have your cars modded with a higher miles on them and are they still running pretty good?

I only have 65k on my car now but it slowly climbs every year.

Not sure what the exact conflict was about, but one can assume that each site felt they had the superior car? Not sure to be honest.

I don't think it really matters. we're all car people who love our rides plain and simple. unless it's a civic, we don't like them.
