Because it is a known issue with the cobalts...they have had an issue with them but not common enough to recall it, I have replaced mine once a long time ago, if it goes bad it sounds like marbles rollin around in your engine and its loud

change oil regularly, stay off the redline...lighter flywheels were also a speculation but i don't know how true it is
