**** that is worth it no matter the weather.... bring a couple of intense kits... i have a feeling if people see them in action and see the components first hand you could have a really good marketing day that day.

 

Some of us are planning 150+ mile trips to make it there this Saturday and would prefer it to go on rain or shine. I think I'm with the majority when I say I'm planning on showing regardless. If I'm mistaken, please, somebody let me know - with gas @ $3.15/gal, I could stand to save the $50.

 

I was debating on whether not I should come but it looks I am going to have to miss that quiz and blow class of again this Saturday.

that is the main reason im going to this meet! I want to look at everybodies setup and make my decisions based on what everybody there recomends. I just put 2 coats of wax on my car so im gonna be shining! Just a reminder to everybody if your ride is dirty your gonna get picked on so shine up your whip we dont wanna look bad in front of the other cars!

This thing is happening rain or shine.... if it is raining a continous rain we can figure something else besides Milan to do.... I actually have a good feeling ... i think it will rain then lift up right when we need it too...

I called a couple of people and they said they would rather go rain or shine.... like someone else said there are people coming from all over the state/ out of state/ took of work/ not going to class.... so to switch the date would be tragic...

I'll be at the meet no matter what, but we should start planning for a 2nd meet this summer at Milan. Maybe this time find a day where we can rent the track possibly, have it all to ourselves. Perhaps our Cobalt will actually be ready to hit the track by then.

As far as a second meet.... I'm sure you guys can come to our local car club meet on Sat the 27th....8:30am till noon for racing. They have the track rented and after noon if you want to continue to race even more later on... just pay again for the test and tune session like your planning on doing here.

It's $40 to race for non-members... Last event I went to... I ran my 13's and got a chance to make 25 passes and took home $20 with a slipping clutch.

 

I'll be there rain, shine or tidelwave I am not missing this.

 

Part of me thinks I need to go take the quiz I have Saturday morning but I just can't miss this meet. AH, decisions decisions.

 

lol it is only your education you will be sacrificing not anything important... ask your instructor to take it early or on another date...

 

He doesn't do make up on the quizes because they aren't really worth that much toward the final grade.
