Im about to lol. I found a good deal but then again I still have to get the rubbers so I dont want the rims to just sit there.

 

same thing here. I'm really considering picking up a set of rota's knockoffs of volk Re-30s but I can't afford tires right now.

 

yeah i asked my dad to buy me tires, then im gonna sell my tc rims then pay him back so my car doesnt have to sit or jack stand or anything haha.

should have it all together next week.

 

I might be parting out the Cobalt soon. Before i post a FS thread, figured I'd let you folks know. Here is a list of junk I got (LSJ Stuff)

ZZP Red Powder Coated 3" Intake
42# Injectors
M62 With ZZP Coupler. New Oil & polished
Valve Cover
4 OEM Rotors (New never used)
MSR 045s with 2x NEW Z1 Star Specs and 2 used ones
Repainted HHR SS Wheels (no tires)
2.5 Over the Axel Pipe connected to a Borla
SS/TC Seats (Black/Grey). They need TLC since they were out of a wrecked car. Could always get new seat covers for them from CED.
Semi-new already broken in ZZP Motor Mount (Has about 10k on it)
ZZP Lower trans bushings (New never used)
Used Ingalls with new bushings
I also have a new Smoothflow 2.8" (can't remember if 5 or 4 bolt) and a stock smoothflow of the same bolt pattern.

No prices yet, but just seeing if any one is interested before I actually start selling ****.

 

The thing is I dont have a winter beater so Im stuck with buying new wheels, sell my tc wheels and run the new ones year round and risk pitting during the winter, but i want to keep the stockers so I can go back to them during winter so I have no clue. Guess Ill just wait till I have the extra 700+ bucks to get new tires, get em mounted, and balanced.

rims were cheaper, tires are cheaper, and i can go lower

my dad has gone there and other people i know they do good work...id just go get an estimate and if its a good price get it if not look around...may be selling my car this weekend well see if i do im just gonna buy a normal cheap car under 5k then save up and get a nice car not sure what though yet kinda want a evo then i dont haha

Idk ill look into v8s theres a ton i like...old foxbody or hatch mustangs/stroker camaro or vette/grand national idk i want something different but still makes good decent power i may look into a rx7

 

you can get a 500+hp c5 for a decent price, i want one but im just gonna stick with the cobalt for now.

 

ya well see what i do cause i want to be able to get a truck to pull my car so im thinkin spend like 5-6k on a truck then put some money down on a car then pay it off
