Hey Ohio guys.

I have a lot of space out here on the farm and thought about maybe getting a few of us together to cruise the SE Ohio roads and then grill out at my place after with some beverages. There are 2 bars a block away (I live on the edge of town) and I have plenty of room for a bonfire, a few grills, and a half court for basketball. Plenty of parking in the flat section of the field and along the farm area. Could easily handle 25-30 cars I'd guess. More if you park in the field at the bottom of the driveway.

I live out on State Route 37 in New Lexington (43764). There is an AWESOME driving road around me. Its about an hour and a half's drive round trip on some of the curviest, most enjoyable speed roads ever. There are plenty more around (including parts of 555 that cut through this road) if you go on Motorcycle Roads & Trips - The Best US Motorcycle Rides & Routes and search southern Ohio. I have driven this one for years and always get a thrill out of it.

Route from New Lexington (37) to McConnelsville down to Glouster (78) then back to new Lexington (13).




Anyway, I'd love to get it together if everyone were to pitch in some money for food, propane and whatnot. Plenty of room to pitch a tent and a there is a motel literally across from my driveway that rents for CHEAP Relax Inn. We could do a keg or just BYOB and go to the bars after. My buddy owns one of them and would LOVE the business. Sideliners Sports Bar

Nice looking drive. Now, if everyone can keep their car on the road and keep from eating someone elses rear bumper! I wish I could make it, I have other obligations this day! I may swing by your place later in the day!

Due to my mechanic not fixing my car in time and my house being in the midst of roof repairs, I'm pushing the date of the cruise back to August 6th. Hope this doesn't ruin too many schedules.
