i live in lexington, ky and go to the University of Kentucky. so i went for an advising appointment to get my classes set up for the fall so i was gone for about an hour and i part about 2 blocks from the center of campus. when i was walkin bac to my car i was about 50 ft away and i looked at the back of my car and relized somethin was wrong and it hit me that my rear plate and tag was gone. so i call the police and they had me car campus police, call them and they said they'd hav an officer car me so 30 min later an officer call me and had me make a report so i wouldn't get a ticket if i got pulled over until i get a new plate but the thing is they said it was probably stolen as a suviner b/c i hav IL plates in KY or the other thing he said was someone might commit a crime with my plate on their car. so am hr trip to school became a 2 1/2 hr pain in my ass

come on who steal an f--in license plate it just a number one

 

I've heard of drug dealers stealing plates and using them on different cars to run drugs.

 

that really sucks man. hope you can get it back or get another one you like

 

my plate number is goin into the police computer system so if anyone is seen drivin with them they will be pulled over

 

Not too long ago someone around here was stealing plates off 7th gen Civics then stealing gas.

 

the street signs in the area was missin to, and it was the middle of the day in a area people are normally walking bye
