i was w the gf in the Westland area and on Ford road saw a Blue Cobalt w an aftermarket body kit and hood i believe. im not sure if it was an SS or not but just wondering of your on here. Nice car btw if your here.

 

Hey i dont have that blue cobalt, but i'm in the howell area. I have a yellow and black 08 and just wanted to see if i could find any other cobalt owners from this area.

 

I've got an orange SS/SC, 06, in Howell. I'll keep an eye out

Here's a link to some pictures of it on my business' myspace, it's actually my girlfriends car, but my toy lol. mine is the blue dakota in those albums. Anybody have the cold cathode headlights like the ones at the above link? I'm having issues with the passenger side cathode bars going out after a few days after installing. The same exact thing happened on my buddy's G5 passenger side headlight.

Where abouts in Howell are you? Last week I saw a blue SSSC with 1st gen halos and some other mods, but I've never seen another cobalt with aftermarket headlights around here.

 

I drive a stock 09 ss/tc, Rally Yellow, High Rise, Chevy Tie off trunk and GM logos off side panels.

I am around the East Lansing area. I drive I-69 A LOT

 

ha yeah that does kind of suck, but that thing hits harder than any pair of 12's i have ever had i metered it at around 136db if you can beleive that. its mainly because its ported. and i live on the north side of 59 off of latson road, but i'm drivin around town all the time.

hey that reminds me, my girlfriend has mentioned something about doing a local cobalt/G5 car show. But i wasnt really sure how many people would really show up. technically you could attract people anywhere from fowlerville to just passed novi possibly. What do you guys think about that idea? I think it'd be sweet to be able to look at different mods and stuff, but like i said, i just dont know how many people would actually show.

Theres a guy that comes into my work with a silver high wing he actually came in today, he had a white husky puppy with him. he's a younger guy, and he usually comes in with his gf. may be the same guy, but who knows

so since this has turned into a general discussion, i figured i would share that i just ordered that B&M Shift Plus thing. I read the posts about other people using this too, but those were from like 2006, so I'm assuming that since i havent seen any blown transmission threads, that it should be a pretty safe investment. any body hear anything different?

 

One of my fraternity brothers has it on his SSNA. No problems thus far, its been over a year.
