so i just found out today that Superchips has released a software update for the programmers to work with the 2.0 SC Cobalts...doesn't help me at all lol but i figured i would share the news in case anyone is interested

 

Just wanted to say hey to everyone in MI. I'm in Garden City off of Merriman. I have an 06 Silver SS SC that has been a great car for me. I'd be up for a meet any time. I'm hoping to find a good exhaust setup that doesn't sound too rice! The car is breaking my heart right now, its bucking and dying whenever it makes boost. I've gone through everything now and can't find anything mechanical. My Ecotec buddies are thinking I might have a bum PCM, anybody want to help me test that out?

 

There are 3 balts ss/sc in you area...one is cherryhill/telegraph another is southfield/outerdrive and then one is Centerpark blvd(or w/e) and warren?(or wayne...i dunno)

 

Check Maf Sensor first. What are all your mods (if any.)

Dude,,,you've gotta live less than a half mile from me! I'm near Ford and Merriman. That was my yellow SS s/c at North Bros recently because I switched up.

Whatever you do if you take it to a dealer, DO NOT take it to Gordon. My car did the same stuff and it was a)water in my air filter b)bad MAF, c)clogged injectors, and d)dirty TB.

Hey guys, here is a little more info, i typed the first post real quick while at work. It is Saturday, October 10th at Great Escape to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. We are in charge of it this year, so TROPHIES WILL BE THERE FOR THE WINNERS THIS YEAR. Its not just a cobalt meet, so there will be a wide variety of cars, but we hope to have a good turnout!



The classes are:

Compacts
Sedans
Mini-Truck
Full Size Truck/SUV
Classics (1950's and older)
Muscle car Mild (Factory Restored to lightly modified)
Muscle Car Wild (Heavily Modified)
Audio SPL Mild (under 1000 watts)
Audio SPL Wild (over 1000 watts)

1st 2nd and 3rd place trophies will be awarded in all of the classes

A single trophie will be awarded for Best In Show and another one for Peoples Choice.





Registration starts at 10am on Saturday October 14th, fees are $15 to register for the show and an additional a $5 to register for the sound competition.

All Proceeds go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association!!!

haha yea it actualy is. it has a stroker motor with a vortec procharger. it will run tens with slicks =D it could have been a differnt cobra.
