Anyone have any experience e with any local shops that do window tinting? I had my lsj tinted at Ohio truck and van and they did a wonderful job, but they refused to tint the matrix at the top of the rear window (leaving like a 8" strip across it untinted) and they were very expensive. Just wondering if anyone else had any luck with someone else?

 

Car stereo hq tints here in Austintown on mahoning ave. I also know a kid who does tint. I've never personally gone to either but have seen the work of both and they do a good job. Not sure on prices tho

 

Do to crazy good reviews, I drove all the way up to Elyria to get my car tinted last summer. Far drive but get this. I got all 5 windows tinted for 90 bucks and a lifetime warranty. The tint looks perfect to this day.

 

$90 for tint is cheap as hell.

There are a couple guys here who have gotten tinted there years ago and still, it looks as black as new.

My buddy said $120 for all the windows unless he has to remove tint. Then it'll be a little extra.

Nah I trust you if you say he does good work. Can you see if he can do anything with the matrix at the top of the rear window? I've seen it done on other balts before, I just dunno how

 

I did ask him he said there's 2 things to do. He said they sell a dot matrix film online which is basically a piece of vinyl that fills your gap. Or he could tint over it. But it wouldn't look as good as that vinyl piece. It's customer discretion. So it'd be what your personal preference is
