Damn that's crazy. I'm jus sick of the basic silver trim. So looking for a good way to change it up.

 

Have you ever thought about walking around a junk yard? There are a lot of cobalt and G5's wrecked out there! I would check feezles auto wrecking or youngstown auto wrecking maybe you can find what you like cheap! Plus walking around a junk yard is fun! If nothing else you get a lot of ideas

 

There are ZERO G5's in the yard right now. I know, I've been looking for a R taillight forever...

 

Any cobalts ? I could use a block? I fried mine :/

 

Ya the G5 is a rare car really! I work at Lordstown and we would run about 60 cobalts to every 1 G5

 

Lol I was at Cleveland Auto Wrecking on Youngstown-Hubbard road today. Funny, cause I took the dash trim out of an orange Cobalt LS. Had fog lights so it was perfect. They had a few Cobalts but that was the only one that matched up with mine perfectly.

 

So how does the whole junkyard process thing work? Never been to one.

 

You just walk into the shop, you gotta sign a paper in case you get hurt and can't hold them liable or whatever. Then they allow you to walk through the junkyard and you just bring back whatever you want and they ring up a price for you. I paid $16 for the dash trim and a sunroof thing.

Resoldering these damn sensors before work...

 

Sounds pretty simple and reasonably priced. I'l have to check it out sometime and go one day and just pick up some random stuff if I can find anything for my car

 

Damn haha I'm trying to do something tonight! And yeah it wasn't bad. I almost took a stock 8 sub out of the cobalt but didn't feel like it.

 

It'd be nice if I could find a usable block until I saved enough to get my new one

Saw a yellow SS about half an hour ago in Hermitage PA. Sounded beautiful. Had 30 day tags on it from Ohio I think. Anybody on here?

 

Did it have tinted windows and rain guards?

 

One of you an orange ss sc tint black ish rims, lowered exhaust in Hubbard?

 

I'm not sure. I could barely see the two guys inside of it, but my windows are tinted so that could be why.

So about that yellow SS I seen in hermitage the other night...I seen it in sharon today and talked to the dude at a red light. It's a LSJ turbo swap with around 50k miles he said. Bought it a month ago. God damn does it sound so nice
