LED third brake light purchase details
Just sent my payment. It would be helpful in the future to send out PMs as well as posting in a thread. Those tend to be more noticeable when you stop remembering to check the thread after 2 or 3 weeks.
yeah i'm down......i have someone to pay a visit to not even 20 miles from the park.........should make for an interesting day
guys, ide like to add...when you receive yours, only plug in ONE of the two connectors...i dont know why the factory put a connector on both ends, but they did, so please, just use ONE...

Are you kidding me? I plugged in both, and now my brake lights don't work. The running lights work, but the brakes don't. I pulled ALL fuses, and none are blown. So this probably means I need a new brake switch or relay. This should've been said in advance guys. I'm a little disappointed, and now I can't go anywhere tonight because I have no working brake lights.
sorry dallas
I'm going to check this out further tomorrow, but I expect some kind of reimbursement if I have to purchase a replacement part. There weren't even instructions in the box. It was kind of a no-brainer, or so I thought.....
did it come put together? or like did you have a board and have to put the leds in? like what is required. like any soildering?

Yeah man, even had the car started. Like I said, automatic running lights come on and everything. Just won't light up when I hit the brakes. Went to Autozone and O'Reilly's to get a replacement switch and relay, but neither store had either part. I damn near got rear-ended at a stop light though because of the aforementioned non-working brake lights.
No soldering, completely plug-n-play. Pull out the 3 stock bulbs. Use the double-sided tape to mount the board in the housing. Plug in when the bulbs were (or should I say plug in ONE where A bulb was). Then remount the lens and plug the harness in and it should've worked. No wires to cut or anything.
