This is the best of the bunch...it's small, but needs to cover the coils!

the 2.0 looks good with it flat because the valve cover is flat, i think something rounder that goes with the look of our valve cover would look better.

i'm horrible with gimp but this is kind of my idea, almost a mix of the other photoshops just rounded out to cover the coil's main box, but the steam pops out the back, while the cam sensors would be completely covered and enclosed (not open like the prototype). This whole thing should not sit outside the middle area at all. just a box rounded at the top a "raised" version of the 2.0L's with the coil pack's slotted...

(ignore the cam sensor wires going into the side, they should be fed from the back)

I've been wanting to fab my own covers for a long time. if you notice the two bolt holes right on the fuel rail where it mounts to the head, perfect spot to mount a fuel rail cover...

its not my pic, but mine is simular. those holes are used to hold the coolant overflow hose in place. mine is hanging loose, this guy seemed to use a little strap and makes it much cleaner..

or maybe im on crack, i dunno. its been a while since i've seen a stock 2.4 engine bay =]

a) elecblue's idea is the best one out of the bunch have it flat on the valve cover and let the plugs for the coil packs stick out...i dont mind that...its the groove between the cams that gets all dirty and nasty all the time and looks like crap...and its also impossible to polish and keep clean so id rather cover it...

b)MRZ...i NEED a 2.4 fuel rail cover PLEASE!!!!

c) if these 2 pieces become available ill be getting them along with the strut tower caps

d) can u do white anodization (sp?)

How bout a flat cover with humps pressed in to clear the coils. Or maybe something cast. But I'm sure MRZ doesnt have the capability to do this, and it would be quite expensive.
