Back for more
Well I’m back, been away from the scene for 5 years. I used to own a 2005 Cobalt SS but it went up in flames due to a crack in my flex pipe. Since then I had 2 kids, bought a house, got engaged and purchased a couple family oriented vehicles. I randomly went on Craigslist looking for cobalts and I found turbocharged one in New York on Long Island. It’s a 2008 Silver SS/TC so I went and got it, couldn’t be happier and I’m glad I can finally say I own a turbocharged SS.

No the car is done yet. I have spent a lot more money on it this year as I have been buying many of the parts needed to finish it, including the Vortech V7 YSI-B supercharger kit. I am in the process now of mocking up the engine bay as I plan on how to fit everything under the hood. The engine is awaiting assembly at the engine builders and now that the racing seasons are winding down my engine will start getting done. I am expecting to track the car next summer.
