Hi all, I surf this site often, but I never got around to registering.

I've had my red '05 SS S/C for just over a year now, and it'll be paid off in 2 more. When I bought it it had some cosmetic issues, which I have been slowly working on fixing up. When I finish college and land a decent job, I plan on doing some work under the hood, but it's bone stock right now (with the exception of some exterior mods). Stereo system going in next month, as well. I'd post pics, but I'm not entirely sure how to do that (I'm new to the forum world).

Also, I'll be at Carlisle next weekend for the GM Nationals, probably on Saturday, so let me know if you're going to be there and I'll keep an eye out for you. (Has anyone seen many cobalts actually registered for the show? My dad keeps telling me to put mine in, but the front bumper needs repainted and the s/c and valve cover have some corrosion, so I don't want to look like a fool if I enter mine).

HUGE cobalt meet man! Cancel vacation. Reading will be a vacation!

 

Sounds like a blast, but I can't cancel, it's a family tradition type vacation. I'll have to try to make it next year. Does the meet have a particular name so I can look it up in the future?

 

Still debating If I should take off work and drive 5 hours each way to make that meet.

We usually have a meet once a month.

I'm probably leaving for OC Wednesday night (the 3rd) and coming back on Monday (the 8th). I'll have to keep an eye and ear out for you then, because you most likely won't hear me (no performance mods yet lol).
