I am going to be starting with the engine, I will probably do an intake and an exhaust first. I was thinking the K&N intake and maybe the tsudo exhaust. Any recommendations? I want a deep sound not a twangy one.

not sure if the base motors are similar to the lnf's but it would prob be worth it for you to just get a drop in air filter instead of a full intake, it would be alot cheeper, stay a lil more sleeper, and only sacrifice like 2 hp, i would look at other exhausts too, like zzp or clear image automotive, another thing to look into after those two things would be a tune, and maybe header

Based on your first sentence, you don't need to give ANY molding advice. As for the OP. Check out the forum specific to your engine and you will find sticky threads in there and SEVERAL build and boost swap threads. The best advice on a starting point is going to come from yourself. YOU know what you want so do some reading and decide for yourself.

am i wrong? does it give you that much more power to have an actual intake? i was under the impression that the ss/tc and base model shared the same factory intake and air filter

same filter, different everything else.

now to the op, save your money for a supercharger kit and tune, or turbo and tune, do exhaust later.

I had already planned on boosting it, but I didn't think to do it before doing the exhaust. The stage 2 kit from ZZP requires an exhaust upgrade before you can even use it, so I figured why not do the exhaust now?
