Hello! 09 Cobalt SS in Oregon

Hello,
I own an 09 SS that I bought brand new as part of my GM severance package during the great debacle of '08. Great car! I've daily driven it for almost 140k miles and it's still runs great and feels great on the little twisty part of my morning commute.
Mechanically, I've only had a couple of issues. One was an intercooler that I smashed on a tiny patch of curb that separated 2 driveways that I failed to notice. I replaced it at the dealership with the OEM intercooler as it was still under warranty. Another was the little plastic fitting on the cold air intake that the fresh air intake hose connects to has just snapped off for the second time. The first was replaced under warranty. Also, when my ignition failed due to the recall issue, it actually locked in the ON position which meant I couldn't turn the car off or remove the key. As I couldn't miss work, for a short period of time I would pull a relay in the relay box to deactivate the car and also not drain the battery.
The car is 100% stock, but that's about to change. Seeing as its long out of warranty, and I finally have a little extra money, and the little plastic fresh air intake fitting snapped off the cold air intake tube, I intend to swap the cold air intake and do a Trifecta tune to pick up some power. Once I've got a little more money set aside later in the year, I intend to swap the down pipe and cat back and tune it again to try to get to 350 hp and 400 lb-ft. That seems within reach for what I've seen on this forum and elsewhere. This is the plan currently and it may change as I do more research. In the meantime, I'm having a pretty good time just reading up on what everyone else has done. This is a great resource. Feel free to offer advice or any good threads on the forum that are not already a sticky.

Thanks for the heads up! Long ago when I was looking, Trifecta was reputable. By the looks of some of the threads here, that's no longer the case.

Welcome! Ditto on staying away from Trifecta, get an HP Tuners tune.
Whereabouts in Oregon are you? A friend of mine lives there that has an HPT tuned 09 SS.
Also, get a catless down pipe before the tune. Really opens these cars up.
And finally, post up some pictures!
