Hello all!

Hi everyone. Don't have a lot of time to go in-depth right now, but I'm new to these forums and I do like to introduce myself. I've got a 2008 Cobalt LT sedan, in Imperial Blue. 152,500 miles on it. Done some mods, nothing too major yet, but I'm currently preparing to swap out the entire suspension among other things, and tearing down the parts car I bought, an '07 G5 GT. Going to get the needed parts from it to convert my Cobalt to 5-lug hubs and disc brakes. It'll be a pretty big project but I'm looking forward to it.

I also hypermile. Been getting 35-37mpg a tank with mostly highway and some city driving. My averages have dropped now that it's cold out though.

Not the best photo, but here's my little pride and joy.

Welcome. I was wondering why you want to swap brakes on a hypermiling car? Suspension is completely understandable as stock suspension is pretty floaty but for a car that doesn't see the track or aggressive driving where the brakes could get hot, it's a lot of work for no real advantage. It's your car to do whatever you want with it I just was curious what your motivation is for the brake swap.
