What makes you think it's the starter?

Question

not thinking starter..i had replaced it..after doing so all I can get is it to crank or turn over..i haven't got around to checking the pressure of the fuel from the pressure valve..but I can hear it humming..if the fuel pump was bad or not sending enough fuel would I still hear it humming or buzzing?

Might sound like a dumb question but have you checked your battery and why did you change your starter?

Check the voltage on it should be more than 12.6 volts when you havent used it of not that could be your problem

Does it sound like its gonna fire? Pops or crackles? Or is it just constant cranking the whole time?

constant cranking..it is getting fuel up to the fuel rail just not into the injectors.
