I currently own a cobalt LS 2008 Sedan

I am planning on working on my car, and I joined this community to check out your sweet cobalts! and maybe get some help with mine sometime!

I like that everyone is friendly here, and i am looking forward to having an amazing looking cobalt !

I plan on installing an exhaust system, a friend recommended straight pipes but i think i would rather get the opinion from one with a cobalt . also i just ordered a cold air intake. also want to plasti dip it in white. and most importantly new rims! i keep seeing pictures of cobalts with amazing rims! but they all have 5 lugs. for some reason mine has 4 lol. i would love some reccomendations on rims that would fit my car.

I swapped to 5 lug, though not really worth it I'm happy I did.

Don't strait pipe it, just don't. Get the 2.5'' ZZP exhaust and you'll be happy for sure.

Side note. I think its funny when people cover thier liscense plates. Its not like hundreds of people dont see it everyday.... LOL

 

I think there is bigger selection on 4x100 rims then any other lug patterns.

 

the zzp exhaust is like 400$! straight pipe is like 50 lol .
does the straight pipe help me "performance" wise at all?
any good 4 lug rims anyone would recommend?

 

Idk about your exhaust, but stock LSJ/LE5 cat back is 2.5" except for the over the axle bend and resonator. Just buy different muffler and resonator and have a muffler shop weld in a new 2.5" pipe over the axle to make a full 2.5" catback for cheap.
