The last thing you want to be doing is blocking airflow to your heat exchanger with that grill. You m62 guys already have problems keeping ait2's down

You could've saved some money and just did the air box mod with an aftermarket filter like an aem dry flow. Hope that cai doesnt throw a code. Also stage 2? Hope you're not looking at a gm stage 2 kit. Overpriced, go with a zzp stage 3.

ZZPerformance - ZZP Cobalt Stage 3 kit #ZZ-STG3K-CBT

Zzperformance is your go to site for almost all cobalt parts.
Powell race shop also makes some high quality stuff for cobalts as well.
Stay away from ottp.

yea i have done my research and found that zzp is the most reasonable. and i just put a new radiator back in (thanks to whoever towed it and yanked it forward and broke the mounts) and left the grill piece off for awile. but when i put it back on i noticed it was running around 190. its usually at 180 or so. oh and i dont plan on putting the cai on until i get the stage 2 and get a retuned ecu

I'm talking about your heat exchanger not radiator, you can't monitor your ait2's unless you have an interceptor gauge or hptuners

you need to get that pump asap....and i think a interceptor gauge just plugs into your obd2 port so it is not really a install lol

Still needs an key-on wire and mounted on though.

I would minimize boosting until you get that IC pump replaced.

Take a hammer and tap on the pump first. That usually stretches it a few more miles. Then get the home made grill off of there. While it arguably doesn't look bad it's restricting airflow tremendously and doing bad things for your motor.

Ok thanks. I will check it all out tommorow. I may even go ahead and do the air box mod while I'm at it.
