I should prolly do this too

Hey all I'm Josh, from Michigan,

19 and a machine programmer.

I drive a 2008 Cobalt SS/TC

New to the modding of cars in general, most i did was install audio in my Pontiac grand am. I can do the basic things for a car like everyone should nowadays, but also delving deeper into modding the car, getting it tuned, customizing to my wants and needs, I definitely enjoy this site already for the helpful guides and helpful people that have already directly or indirectly helped me with any problem I was having.

Any questions or anything else you wanna know, feel free to ask away

Stock:
G85 Tranny
Pioneer Audio with OnStar

Current Mods:
MPX Intercooler
Interior LED Lighting
MPX Shorty Antenna

I don't venture ot to Garden City at all, so will probably never spot you.
Check out the Michigan thread though!

Also, look into getting GM stage 1 for your car as your first performance mod.
This site is the best resource for anything Cobalt related.

Welcome to the jungle dude. Like stated above, this site will be your best resource for your car. Some people on here are wankers who will attempt to devour your calmness and make you flip your lid (typical trolls) a way to avoid them, use the different search options under the forum tab at the top before posting a question thread. Other than that, there's more drama here than Facebook. Enjoy the show haha

Welcome. With yours being a 2008 I assume you're close to being out of warranty, I would just get the 3 bar MAP sensors and a custom HP Tuners tune.

I have GMS1 and its fun but theres still lots of improvement to be had.

I do have a new cold air in there by K&N, new hot charge pipe and waiting for the cold to arrive, I'm looking at exhausts and am curios what's the best for power and sound? And the tune should it be a custom tune or the gms1 or trifecta? Lets hear the debate

TurboXS GT/RL/RFL are choices along with ZZP 3".

Your tune choices are HP Tune, GMS1, and Trifecta.
You don't wanna start a debate about HPT vs. Trifecta.

Trifecta is really easy to get. There aren't any independent tuners around our area who do HP Tunes. ZZP is 2-3 hours away, and they'll dyno tune the car with HP Tuners.

You'll really want to get a 3" catted/catless downpipe to maximize your gains. Available at ZZP.

Other car(s) fell through due to being pieces/beat to hell, t'was the backup plan.

Too many debates on tunes. Pick and choose, I would never got a Trifecta tune personally.
