I bought my 07' Colbalt SS supercharged new (36 miles) and still own it today. Was just searching around to see what others had and how long these cars are lasting. I have 227,000 miles on it and have only done the basic maintenance. Replaced battery last year, new struts and shocks, and change the oil regularly. I had the engine computer go bad and was unable to purchase a new one so I went to the junk yard and got another one. The dealer said they were no longer making this part which I don't understand since they were still making the car (3 years ago). I still have this as my daily driver and am hoping to get 300,000 out of it.

They stopped making Delta platform cars around 2010 (the Cruze and others are technically Delta II's; based on an Opel design). Either way, the computer in the 05-07 Supercharged models was different than all the other models and the 07 was even different than the 05-06's (07's had double the memory, iirc). So they were correct. The more you dig, the more you'll find that a lot of parts for these cars are being discontinued.
