replacing my supercharger at 10k miles?

I just asked other people if they have had trouble with their supercharger and what was wrong with theirs, I haven't completely figured out why mine had to be replaced, must be that time of the month eco-mod

umm i have 10k and no problem yet. i do hear a pshh noise after 5k and on but i was told that is normal air trying to get by the restrictive air box or something but im not too familiar with sc's or nothing so i might take the car in to get checked

maybe the guy before you slapped on a 2.6" pulley or something and put it back to stock and sold it cause it burned up the s/c. i'm almost at 20k miles on an 05 and my s/c seems to be doing just fine, no unusual noises (knock on wood) but i have done some porting and porting the inlet to fit a 4.2l TB and i've been running a 2.9" pulley for almost a year. i've already changed out the s/c oil as well.
