I got my black 2006 SS/SC new. It's been my daily use car to this day. I have used this site so many times for guidance. Figured it was about time to make an account. I've been looking through the wheel section a lot lately. It's time to freshen up my baby with some new ones. Finally got around to replacing the interior door handles this weekend. Going to try to find a replacement switch bezel for my doors later this week. I found new ones on gmstores but I have some misc other things (rear side light assembly, shifter head) that I'm going to try my luck at a salvage yard first

Welcome - where you able to swap the handles without having to pull the door panels?

It's not hard, you just have the twist the handle compartment to get the inside clips out, then unlatch the door cable. I have the same issue with my door handles but I was planning on painting them instead of replacing.

Also, welcome!

I didn't want to risk pulling them too far and messing up the cable so I pulled just the top of the door panel open and reached through. I was most nervous since the speaker is the mirror guard but the pins pulled out and went back in cleanly.

Welcome! That's a lot of DDing years. How many miles do you have it up to?

I've been thinking about selling my gold EKM3's. They have good summer tires with 95% life left on them too.
