LSJ and LS1 Owner

Just checking in! Long time surfer, first time member. Bought a Cobalt SS as a daily driver about two years ago and absolutely love it! Currently just have basic mods, but it is a G85 looking for more power I'm sure.

I also have a 2001 WS6 Trans Am with a built motor and some laughing gas to help get it down the track. This has been my main project the last few years so now it's time to mod the Cobalt a little bit more. I have a YouTube video of the Trans Am that I can post if you're into cam lope.

I'll see if I can get a few pictures up tonight when I get home. Look forward to contributing!

Welcome nice ws6 you got there. Sounds like a good cam. Any dyno numbers yet? Ill be building a iron block 6.0 soon with 243 heads, just not sure what type of cam id go with.

Last time I went it put down 433rwhp, 408rwtq on a baseline tune for break-in. Was going back to get it finished about two weeks ago and the transmission dumped cruising down the road at 45 mph. Fluid is still nice and red with no prior signs of failure so I'm thinking the pump died based on this and it killed the clutches...so that was a little disheartening. My job currently doesn't allow me time (our busy season is June 30-October) so I can't really work on it either...so it'll just have to hang out for now.

I've got a few suggestions, the guy who built my cam is shaking up the LS world; pumping out more horsepower than the old proven cams people have been running for a decade to make 400rwhp. I've still got some wiggle room too as I'm still on the stock LS6 intake with some minor porting.
