What's up guys I drive a 2008 cobalt ss turbo charged and I'm in love with it and I'm glad I chose it over my other options, 3 of my friends have cobalts as well. I recently ordered parts for my cobalt but I have yet put them on yet cause I'm still waiting for some parts to come in but I ordered

K&n intake
Injen charge pipes
Zzp catless down pipe
H&r lowering springs
GM stage 1
And I'm going to get it tuned
I should have my parts and tune done by the next 2 weeks and I'm looking forward to it and I really can't wait. I have everything except my GM stage 1 and down pipe

 

As far as i know, Gm stage 1 comes with a tune. Looks like you're off to a good start with parts though lol Welcome to the land of no return

 

Is that only if you get it from the GM dealer? I ordered it online and a friend of a friend from Canada is doing the tune. Thanks bro

 

Honestly not sure, might know more about it if i had an lnf but I have an lsj lol hopefully someone else will chime in

 

If the dealer installs it you get the tune from them. I didn't stay long on GMS1

I'm not planing on going back to anything.
Just got my GM stage 1 sensors and harness yesterday. Tomorrow morning I will be putting on all my parts except for the GM sensors but they will be on by next week forsure with the tune. I'll be going up to 23 lb of boost

Welcome, Im new here as well. I've had my 09 SS/TC for 4 months already and it's a really fun car to drive. Even when I hear people saying Cobalts have a shitty interior, I tell them they have clearly never sat in a Pontiac Sunfire. The SS has the interior of a Ferrari compared to that LOL

 

Ohh no way I got mine the first week in January and honestly I like the interior It's different than most cars now days. But I'm in love with my cobalt.
