Hello everyone im new too the furom and cobalts ive had the car about a month now i really like it but I know nothing about the car any info would help me out tons I wanna make it faster stiffer thanks to everyone in advance hope you all have good days and thanks for adding me

Welcome. As is said regular maintenance to get the car up to speed before mods but I say combine the two. If you have a part that needs replaced go ahead and replace it with a performance or upgraded part.


There is probably a way to tell from the pictures but what year is it? Do you have any codes or notice any issues while driving?


For suspension I would recommend replacing your trailing control arm bushings with some spherical bushings. I would also recommend YYZ springs with either TC Cobalt struts or Koni's. You can buy YYZ, TC Cobalt strut combo's assembled and ready to install straight of Crate Engine Dept. and it is a great package.

So far ive done the sway bars put the eibach ones and got the best links I could get from AutoZone got a full tune up with the best i could get from the AutoZone again put the accel coil packs it doesn't have any lights or codes next I would really like too lower it was looking at zzp thinking of getting a stage 3 kit and full exhaust from zzp right now it has tusodu exhaust never heard of it sounds good but dont really like it my friends say it don't sound like its factory you can hear it wine pretty loud but in my city not much to compare it too people i got it from didn't know anything about it it was a trade in
