New guy on the block

What's up guys, Dunefaber here. Been using the site for about 2 yrs now your info from everyone is pretty dam good.
I started outbuilding my buggy 2 yrs or so and wasn't sure on what motor to use, all my friends from the dunes said to check out the ecotec , prices where good $300 for a 2.2 from. A 05 ddens wellcav. Anyway I finished the car had Steve Humphrey do the his thingon the harness and puter ran great. Now everyone is runnin big cars LS,coyotes so that brings me up to date.I built a frienda chassis for 32ford , he gave me a2.4 from a2011 malibu so I Scrounged up aS/Cgot it on the 2.4 and itsin the car now getting it on the dyno next week. And Tha ksgiving be att Gordens wells startin a new season of dunnin. By the way iam retired from 37 yrs as union ironworker and got mea fab shop in the back.

That's a nice use of an Ecotec. Having a metal fab shop in the back yard definitely helps for that type of project. Enjoy tearing up the sand.
